Update on Summer Camp 2020

Although plans for Throwzone Academy’s 14th annual Summer Training Camp are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 crisis, we do intend to move forward with scheduling the camp as soon as we know it’s safe to do so. We are carefully monitoring the situation and will share dates with you once restrictions have eased.

Please know that during Summer Training Camp we will follow all city and state protocols to the letter in order to keep everyone safe and healthy. If masks and gloves are still required, we will provide those for all participants. We have a digital thermometer on site as well, if needed. We may also need to ask all players and their families to refrain from hugs, handshakes, and fist bumps.

We’ll also maintain the strict cleaning procedures put in place prior to the stay-at-home order. These procedures include: ensuring everyone washes their hands or uses the hand sanitizer provided when entering and leaving the building, washing/disinfecting all equipment used for our classes, and cleaning off the couches after sessions are complete.

We know this has been a difficult time for everyone. But we also know the situation is temporary and that baseball will return. This gives us hope and something to look forward to as we navigate our way into a new normal.

In the meantime, enjoy a couple of short and fun video snippets from Summer Camp 2019 to give you an idea of some of the group drills we do. We can’t wait to see you over the summer and help you get back on the mound and ready for fall!

Please contact us at (661) 644-2147 if you have any questions. Stay safe and well!
